*Please refrain from consuming alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours before your microblading procedure.
*Avoid sun exposure and tanning for one week prior to your appointment.
*Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Advil/Ibuprofen for 24 hours before the procedure.
*It’s important to steer clear of power shakes, power greens, Fish Oil, and "Hair, Skin, Nail" supplements 24 hours before your microblading appointment, as these can thin the blood and complicate pigment retention.
*Discontinue the use of Glycolics, Chemical Peels, and Retin-A for two weeks prior to the procedure.
*Refrain from using any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products near the eyebrow area for two weeks before and after your microblading session. Make sure to check your moisturizer, face wash, BB or CC creams, and makeup primers for any ingredients that mention acid.
*No brow waxing should be done one week before the appointment.
*If you tint your brows, please do so three days prior to your microblading procedure.
*Please note: You may experience increased sensitivity during your menstrual cycle as well.
*You must be off any kind of Accutane for one year—NO EXCEPTIONS!
*If you receive Botox, it should be scheduled either two weeks before or two weeks after your microblading appointment.
*Finally, ensure that you have completed your client consent forms before the procedure.
